Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus Preorders Start TODAY with Remote a-Peel

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus featuring the Peel Smart Remote TV appn will be available at retailers starting November 13th for $399.99. Preorders will begin today at Best Buy and other stores.

The Peel app help users to find TV shows and discovere news ones. The built-in infrared capabilities of the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus can control any home theater/TV setup.  Features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 3MP camera, front-facing camera,  Android 3.2 Honeycomb and 4000mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus is 9.96mm thin.  The preloaded Samsung Media Hub gives you instant access to thousands of movies and TV shows. You also get the Samsung Social Hub, which gives you live updates from all your favorite social sites.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus joins another expected 7" tablet with fewer features the Amazon Kindle that is price much lower at $199.   Amazon sold 95,000 Kindle Fire tablets during the device’s first day of presales according to DataSource.

Peter King at Strategy Analytics noted in a recent WMNs interview, that The Kindle Fire is does not compete directly with iPad on the power side, but does has some of the good features of the iPad such as a content delivery system of books, apps, movies and its own ecosystem.

According to iHS iSuppli the Kindle Fire potentially could become the No. 2 selling tablet after the iPad, even though it cost more to make than what its $199 price tag.

The Amazon Kindle Fire is on presale from Amazon now  for $199 and will be released on November 15.
